The media misreported a riot outside an Apple store in Beijing last week, but had they dug a little deeper they would have seen it as yet another example of Chinese factory workers producing products for technology giants finally standing up for their rights. Lijia Zhang writes:
I felt the pain of my fellow workers because I, too, slaved for 10 years at a factory and endured its strict rules. The restrictions at my state-owned factory, however, paled in comparison to those of cold-hearted capitalism.
